Jen & Justin: Why They Can't Wait to Wed!

03/02/2013 at 03:00 PM EST

Here's the thing about being Jennifer Aniston and being in love: The universe is invested. On Feb. 24 the star hit the red carpet in scarlet Valentino, her fiancé, Justin Theroux, by her side.

Flashes shimmered, fans roared, and the pair ducked into Hollywood's Dolby Theatre to take in the show. But there, the girl everyone presumes lives next door (who knew we all owned mansions?) was confronted by a friendly but curious employee who boldly asked That Question: Are you pregnant?

"No, I'm not!" replied Aniston, laughing politely. But, "I feel great," she told PEOPLE later that evening. "Wonderful!"

And on the outside? Forget about it. "She looks the greatest she possibly could," says Chris McMillan, her old pal and partner in her new hair-care line Living Proof. "Look at where she is in her life."

There's the man. There's that ring. There's a slate of films and new beauty ventures, renovating a $21 million L.A. estate in hopes of soon "normalizing and nesting," as she recently told PEOPLE, and, yes, planning a wedding.

With her film, based on an Elmore Leonard novel, set to wrap in Connecticut on March 8, "Jen and Justin have a date" set for soon after, says a source close to the actress, noting that the twosome have designed their wedding bands and Aniston has a dress in mind. "It will be a small affair with their closest friends." Likely among them: Aniston BFFs Courteney Cox, Chelsea Handler and Mandy Ingber, all of whom headed to New York to celebrate the actress's 44th birthday at the Greenwich Hotel on Feb. 11.

The bride-to-be "is crazy about Justin and can't wait to be his wife," says the source. "She plans on privately changing her name to
Theroux. She likes the way it sounds and jokes that [Jennifer Theroux] sounds very posh."

Don't look for Camille Grammer on the upcoming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion – nor on season 4 for that matter: The reality star has decided to call it quits, a source close to Grammer tells PEOPLE.

"There were some good times and some not so good times, but it's very hard to live your life out on the screen," the source says, referencing her divorce from Kelsey Grammer, which played out on the show's first season.

Grammer's decision comes at a time when there is great uncertainty regarding the upcoming season's cast.

"Adrienne Maloof is also considering leaving the show, but she has not made a definitive decision as of yet," the source tells PEOPLE.

Meanwhile, TMZ.com reports that, like Camille Grammer, Maloof will not be appearing on the reunion episode also because of a restraining order she and now-ex husband Paul Nassif signed "prohibiting them from talking about each other, their kids or the divorce."

As for Grammer, she has no regrets about the show says the source: "She is definitely a much stronger person now than when she started."

Vinny Guadagnino may need to call former Jersey Shore castmate Snooki for some parenting tips: He's welcomed a furry new addition.

Guadagnino adopted a pit bull from the North Shore Animal League, he announced on Twitter on Saturday.

By Monday night, he'd come up with a name for his "gorgeous girl."

"Inspired by her muscles and Buddhism, meet....Bodhi," he wrote. (In Sanskrit, the word means "enlightenment.")

And it looks like the two are already clocking in plenty of quality time together, along with Guadagnino's lady friend, Melanie Iglesias.

"Long as my b----es love me," he wrote. "#cuddletime."

Camila McConaughey is the epitome of hot mama.

Over the weekend, the model, 31, made a triumphant return to the red carpet in not one, but two amazing outfits.

The new mom-of-three — son Livingston was born on Dec. 28 — debuted her gorgeous post-baby curves in a body-hugging black pantsuit at the QVC Red Carpet Style event Friday in Beverly Hills.

And on Saturday, she showed off a little leg in a coral embellished Escada gown paired with a white snakeskin clutch, blush platform pumps and H.Stern jewels while attending the Independent Spirit Awards with husband Matthew.

So is the busy mom willing to share her secrets with other expectant women?

“I’m writing things down because there’s so many things to know and products; [the] kind of stuff that you don’t find out until later,” she told PEOPLE.

Hmm, sounds like there’s an advice book in the works. But McConaughey remained mum on the topic. “I’m not saying that yet.”

One thing she was willing to divulge: there’s lots of laughter in her house due to the funny antics of older kids Levi, 4, and Vida, 3.

“They [make me laugh] every day.”

Daniel Radcliffe Dances to Nelly in West Hollywood

02/24/2013 at 04:00 PM EST

We're not in Hogwarts anymore.

Daniel Radcliffe made an unexpected appearance at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood on Friday night. Arriving with a male pal around 1:40 a.m., the Harry Potter star was "in party mode but really friendly," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

Wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and jeans, the actor hung out at a table in the club's back VIP room, where he made himself vodka cocktails.

As DJ BeeFowl spun hit after hit, Radcliffe "started singing and dancing at the table to Nelly's 'Country Grammar' and 'Ride Wit Me'," the source adds. "He introduced himself to people at his table casually as 'Dan.' "

As the evening progressed, Girl Meets World star Ben Savage chatted up Radcliffe and the two shared a laugh.

The next song to make Radcliffe dance was Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

The source adds, "He was very happy-go-lucky," and Radcliffe "posed for a few photos and stayed at the club until closing time."

Nick Carter Engaged to Lauren Kitt

02/22/2013 at 04:30 PM EST

Lauren Kitt and Nick Carter

Angela Weiss/WireImage

Nick Carter has found his fire, his one desire.

"I had the ring in my pocket for two weeks," the Backstreet Boy tells PEOPLE exclusively of his engagement to fitness expert/actress Lauren Kitt.

"I was like, 'I don't want it anymore!' It was driving me insane. I just wanted to get it out of my hands and on to hers."

For the momentous occasion, Carter, 33, took his fiancée, 29, to the Florida Keys where he planned a romantic boat ride to a secluded island – but things did not go as smoothly as expected.

"My boat was in such bad condition because I hadn't used it for, like, six years. It took me five days literally on my hands and knees, scraping up my body [to fix it,]" Carter says. "The engine wasn't complete yet but we still decided to go out."

Despite the engine stalling a few times as they set out to sea Wednesday, Carter and Kitt – along with some close friends and Kitt's father – arrived at a small island Carter had spent time on as a child.

It was there, on the island the couple now refers to as "Engagement Island," that the Backstreet Boy dropped to one knee and presented his girlfriend of over four years with a seven-carat diamond ring from XIV KARATS.

"She said, 'Yes,' and I'm, like, 'I don't know what to do," Carter tells PEOPLE of the proposal. "She said, 'You're supposed to put it on my finger.' So I did. I was in shock."

The proposal came as a surprise to the bride-to-be as well.

"I wasn't expecting it. It just felt very surreal," explains Kitt. "We both are just so happy in love right now and on cloud nine."

And while the couple is excited for their wedding, there are a few other people they must consult before planning their impending nuptials – the band.

"Our first thought was, 'We need to contact the Backstreet Boys and find out when their schedule will permit,'" Kitt says of wedding planning while the band works on a new album and prepares for their sold-out fan cruise in October to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

"It's not up to us. It's up to the schedule. We're just excited and looking forward to the next chapter of our lives."

Can You Guess Which Star Was First To Wear Elizabeth Taylor's $6 Million Emerald Necklace?

Style News Now

On Tuesday night, Julianne Moore did what few women would be able to: She did justice to one of Elizabeth Taylor‘s most prized pieces of jewelry.

The dazzling emerald-and-diamond necklace, purchased for Taylor by future husband Richard Burton while they were on location for Cleopatra in Rome, was a staple in the legendary star’s wardrobe; she even wore it to accept her Oscar in 1967.

It was one of eight Bulgari pieces that the jewelry house purchased from her 2011 Christie’s auction and now have on display at their Rodeo Drive flagship.

“The room absolutely stopped when [Moore] entered” in the necklace, a source at Bulgari’s pre-Oscars party, thrown to celebrate Taylor’s jewels, tells PEOPLE. “Kirsten Dunst exclaimed, ‘Are you wearing one of her pieces?’”

And Moore looked lovely in the necklace, which sold for more than $6 million at auction, though she went a distinctly non-Taylor route by offsetting it with sleek hair and a very simple Alexander McQueen dress. Regardless, we bet Taylor, who wore her fanciest jewelry to sit around the house, would have been pleased.

Tell us: What would you wear with Taylor’s $6 million emerald necklace?

Mindy McCready 'Really Loved Her Dog'

02/19/2013 at 03:45 PM EST

When Mindy McCready was found dead on Sunday of an apparent suicide, the country singer was not alone: Her dog, who'd been fatally shot, was by her side.

But a source close to the star tells Fox News that her decision to end the animal's life would "not have been an act of malice."

"Mindy really loved her dog," the friend said. "It would have been more of a case where she just didn't want to leave the dog alone."

The troubled star, whose boyfriend, David Wilson, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in January, was reportedly under investigation at the time of her death. Police were concerned about details surrounding Wilson's passing.

The Bachelor: AshLee Dishes on Her Connection with Sean - and Tierra

The Bachelor

02/18/2013 at 04:25 PM EST

For The Bachelor's AshLee Frazier, 32, the week spent with Sean Lowe in St. Croix was a series of emotional highs and lows, from coming clean with the final skeleton in her closet to a super-charged confrontation with Tierra. The Houston-based professional organizer spoke with reporters about what she sees in her show squeeze, how it felt to tell him she'd been married before (and in high school no less!), and if she really feared elimination.

Why wait so long to tell him about your high school marriage?
Obviously, I wasn't going to tell him on our very first date. I want to know somebody and make sure the vibe is there before I divulge my story. Every other time was either a group date or the rose ceremony and that just wasn't the appropriate time to talk. He had a few more questions about it [than aired on TV], but he was so loving and genuine about it. He made me feel like a huge weight lifted, like it was OK.

Can you explain how it ended?
The details are pretty simple. I got a divorce. I was young and I didn't handle [going through the rough patch with my family] the best way. It wasn't a bad breakup. It was more like I woke up and [realized], "Oops. What did I do?" We discussed it and both came to the conclusion that we made a bad decision.

You had a great date and said, "I love you." Yet you seemed convinced you would be eliminated. Why?
One hundred percent I was scared this might be the time I go home. I felt safe up until the argument happened and even until Sean came in before the rose ceremony and said that he didn't want anyone with these dramatic spells in his life. I was part of the [drama with Tierra]. I didn't get a chance to talk to him and explain my side of it because there was no cocktail party.

How'd it feel to hear Tierra mock your age and call you high school?
I laughed because what are you gonna do? Go back in time? I'm 32. I've never thought about my age so much in my life. It doesn't bother me. It speaks for itself who was being immature. It was not a very nice thing to say, but that's the difference between her character and mine.

Ever wonder how he could dig Tierra and you simultaneously?
I couldn't sit and wonder why he was keeping Tierra. You have to compartmentalize your feelings and focus on the end and your relationship with Sean. Sean is smart. I knew he'd eventually come to and realize it.

Why do you two mesh?
We come from the same background, have a very similar strong family upbringing and are compatible. He was classy, charismatic and a solid gentleman who made me laugh all the time. You have to balance each other out. I think it was a ying to a yang. He wants to adopt and [great for] my heart to hear. That's a solid foundation to build a perfect relationship.

People have said you might not be enough of a goofball to be the one.
When it came to our relationship. I took it more seriously because this is my future. This is marriage and that's not something I want to tread into lightly. But for the most part, I'm not sure where that comes from. I joked. I laughed. I played a lot of Apples to Apples. I had a blast.

Do you see connections between him and other girls?
I see the possibility. Lindsay is very fun. She's always cracking jokes. Catherine has a big heart. Desiree has a sense of stability. Sean said he wanted someone that was genuine, nice, ready for marriage and somebody with a good heart who loved family and if that's what he wanted, I'm the best match for that.

Is everyone left ready to get married?
If they say they are, I would take it at face value. I would hope that anybody who comes on the show is ready. I can only vouch for myself. I was 100 percent ready to give my heart to somebody and fall in love.

One Last Thing with Emmy Rossum

02/15/2013 at 04:30 PM EST

Emmy Rossum stars in Shameless, but did you know the 26-year-old actress also has a solo album out now? Catch her on the big screen for the upcoming Beautiful Creatures as well! This week she sat down to chat with PEOPLE:

Last vacation I took
I went to the Amangani resort in Wyoming for a week with my mom and best friend. We played in the snow and learned all about mating habits of the native animals. I just watched sheep and took pictures!

Last greeting card I sent
I don't think I've sent one since I was about 12, and it was probably on Valentine's Day. I usually use JibJab, where you put your face in a little online thing. People are usually horrified and delighted at the same time. Joan Cusack and her kids taught me.

Last discovery
Etsy. It's such a time suck. I'm buying all these vintage brooches to use as hair ornaments, decoration, every-thing. They make it very easy; it doesn't feel like you're really even purchasing things. It's a better eBay.

Diem Brown Blogs: Will You Be My Valentine?

02/14/2013 at 04:45 PM EST

I honestly cannot begin to express the emotions I felt last week. I have never felt so loved and cared for in my life. I actually started feeling guilty because I didn't know how to express my thanks to everyone who has read this blog, commented on here or on Facebook, Tweeted me, etc.

I felt an army of support that was with me through this whole "cancer" time. When you're in the midst of dark, stress-filled moments, it's hard to comprehend how many people out there are either going through the same/similar thing or want to help support you while you are in your fight.

Once last week's blog went up, my heart was overfilled with love and gratitude for y'all. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much for your sweet congratulations and encouraging words. I don't know how to repay you, but will try to brainstorm and find brilliant ways to do so.

This may seem weird, but I feel a connection with so many people who have left comments or Tweeted me about their own struggles and shared their stories. I feel we have this cool community of people that support one another and it lifts my heart.

Given that it's Valentine's Day, I wish I could drop those cool lil' Valentine's Day cards, the ones that have the lollipop attached, into your tin foiled decorated V-Day shoe boxes ... you remember like the ones we used to make in kindergarten.

So ... Will you be my Valentine?

I feel on Cloud Nine right now! I know I won't get that 100% cancer-free card, but I know I am not going anywhere! The remaining tests/chemo treatments, etc. are just precaution. It feels unreal to have this "Go live your life" card, and I want to live it up to the very fullest!

One of my closest girlfriends, Alicia Quarles, happens to be the New York correspondent for E! News, and we started laughing about how we react so differently with good and bad news.

When I was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer in June, I was very stoic during my interview with Alicia. I didn't want to "break" in fear that I couldn't put myself together again. Alicia, on the other hand, whom I have known since college, couldn't help but tear up as she said, "It's just not fair" while she asked questions about my second battle with ovarian cancer.

Cut to last week and Alicia interviewed me this time about my cancer remission news. As soon as I started talking, my voice cracked and all of the emotions I held back in the first interview came out and tears trailed down my face. It was that moment I realized "I am alive and am not going anywhere!"

Diem Brown Blogs: Will You Be My Valentine?| Celebrity Blog, Health, Diem Brown

Diem Brown

Matt Sayles / Invision

I had been so scared that seeing 2014 wasn't going to happen for me that hearing the news that you don't have an "expiration date" makes your whole body release ... happy tears included. Alicia was so excited about my remission news that her smile was beaming as she tilted her head laughing and asked, "Those are happy tears, right?"

I never understood the "happy tears" thing until that moment. I laughed as I begun to dry my wet cheeks saying, "Yeah they are! Now, how do you make these suckers stop flowing?"

I hope everyone experiences a "happy tears" moment, as it's the oddest but most wonderful feeling in the world!

So on this beautiful Valentine's Day I also want you to know that you have an army of people who love you. You might not be able to see it, but you affect more people than you will ever realize. Trust me, put yourself and your heart out there for friends, family, and even for support groups online. Some of the people who can build you up the most could be people online whom you will never meet.

I know this was a cheesy "love blog," but I feel so alive and I feel this overwhelming gratitude and love for y'all! Thank you, thank you, thank you – and
Happy Valentine's Day!

Carly Rae Jepsen Reveals Why She's Heartbroken on New Single 'Tonight I'm Getting Over You'

Only on People.com

02/13/2013 at 04:45 PM EST

Heartbreak was far from the theme of Carly Rae Jepsen's catchy, career-launching Grammy-nominated radio hit, "Call Me Maybe" – but in her latest single, the starlet touches on romance gone wrong.

Reliving the past failed relationship that inspired "Tonight I'm Getting Over You," Jepsen, 27, recently explained at PEOPLE's pre-Grammy soiree at Sayers Club in Hollywood, "As an artist, it's fun to explore [my] many sides and sort of go through my experience with love in a more personal way. I hope you haven't experienced it, but I certainly have had that relationship that is on-again, off-again and good and bad."

The singer – who has most recently been dating fellow musician Matthew Koma – goes on to say, "With this particular song, it was sort of that decision that even though [the relationship] is hot and cold, sometimes you've got to move on."

Jepsen, who performed a soulful, acoustic version of the typically upbeat song at the party, sings in the lyrics, "We're not lovers, but more than friends. Put a flame to every single word you ever said. No more crying to get me through. I'll keep dancing 'til the morning with somebody new. Tonight I'm getting over you."

Says Jepsen of the Max Martin-produced tune: "I think it's important to have a bit of a connection to a song that you sing, and there's going to be some grittiness behind it, because otherwise it doesn't come across as sincere. So I do think I tap into those memories in a certain way, but it doesn't make me feel sad. It just makes me feel a little contemplative and in the moment."

The man behind the music has not been revealed – and Jepsen says with a laugh, "It's probably for the best" that he doesn't know it's about him.

Christopher Dorner, Fugitive Ex-Cop, in Gun Battle with Police: Report

02/12/2013 at 04:45 PM EST

Undated photo of Christopher Dorner

LAPD/AP

After an extensive and tense search, authorities believe they found fugitive ex-policeman Christopher Dorner in the Southern California mountains, where a gun battle reportedly broke out Tuesday.

It wasn't immediately known whether Dorner had been apprehended.

Dorner, wanted for allegedly going on a rage-filled vendetta that left three people dead and another wounded, was in a shootout with federal authorities in the Big Bear area, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Two officers have been wounded, a Los Angeles Police Department official tells PEOPLE. Their conditions were not known.

Dorner reportedly broke into a cabin and tied up a couple before stealing their car.

Authorities say Dorner's alleged wave of violence was retribution for having been fired from the LAPD in 2008 after making false statements. Dorner said he would stop the killing when the LAPD publicly proclaimed his innocence and restored his reputation.

Last week, Dorner allegedly fatally shot Monica Quan, 27, and her fiancé, Keith Lawrence in Irvine, Calif., in a vehicle at a parking structure. Quan was the daughter of a former LAPD officer who Dorner claims bungled his termination appeal.

After failing to steal a boat in San Diego, Dorner allegedly attacked more victims – this time, police officers. He allegedly shot at LAPD officers protecting one of his targets, grazing one officer in the head. Dorner was able to escape after shooting up the officers' car.

Thirty minutes later, he allegedly ambushed two officers at an intersection in Riverside, Calif., killing one of them and sending the other to the hospital.

Police then found Dorner's burned-out pickup truck and tracks leading away from the vehicle off a wooded road near Big Bear.

Is Adele's New Tattoo a Tribute to Her Son?

Adele Tattoo Grammy Awards

A is for … Angelo?

During Sunday’s Grammy Awards, Adele brought some serious flower power to the red carpet.

But her Valentino embroidered floral dress, which she accessorized with matching printed pumps, burgundy diamond flower earrings, a black ruffled pouch purse and a vintage up ‘do, wasn’t the only thing that caught our attention.

The singer — who nabbed an award for best solo pop performance for her hit, “Set Fire to the Rain” — showed off some new ink: a discreet “A” in script behind her right ear.

The new mom is mum on the inspiration for her latest tattoo, but could it be another ode to her baby boy’s name?

It certainly wouldn’t be the first time. Days after she scored a Golden Globe in January, Adele was spotted sporting a gold nameplate “Angelo” necklace.
